Unpaused

After much delay I'm starting to find time to work on my sets again. Things took longer than I expected -- and infact are still happening -- and I apologize for that, but I seem to have a little time now and then for rendering. In fact, I've started working on the Roommates set that I previewed earlier. I expect things will progress slowly for now as I am still pretty busy, but work has at least started again.

Paused

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have some things going on in real world that's keeping me from rendering right now, so the current sets and stories are on pause. I fully intend to finish them, I just don't have time to work on them right now, and probably won't for the next month or so. Sorry.

Roommates - S1 - Concept

I'm taking a little break from the Maiden Rune and have decided to start a more contemporary story called Roommates, about two girls living together in college. I don't expect it to have as much of an over-arching story, but will hopefully present some interesting scenes of its own.

I think the first set is going to be Melissa coming home early from class and finding her roommate's dog Max hogging the bed.

I hope no one minds another dog set.

After much delay, the fourth scene is finally published. There's still work I could do to improve the set, but at this rate it would never see the light of day, so I'm better off publishing it as it is. Hopefully its flaws aren't too evident.

The Maiden Rune - C1S4 - Delayed

The fourth set has been delayed, obviously. I hit a snag near the end of the set and it kind of stole my momentum. I still haven't quite figured it out yet, and I honestly got a little burned out on it, so I've been taking a break. I'll get back to it soon -- it's almost done, and it will nag me constantly until I get it finished.

The previous set has had over 1000 downloads so far. I never remotely expected it to be so popular. I almost didn't do it because I thought it was a little vanilla compared to the satyr/lycan set. But apparently people like girls and wolves.

I'm nearly finished with the fourth set, called The Silver Satyr. I've flown through this one pretty quickly, but it's coming out pretty well so far. Helps that I had the first 5 or 6 already done from before.



It looks like it's going to be about 18 images. I need to finish the last few renders, proof them, then get the story down. Should be posted in a few days.

For the fourth set, I've decided to pick up the satyr/Briston set that I'd started previously but put on hold. I have some ideas of what will happen to Lady Grayson in the upcoming sets, but I think she needs a little rest for now. She still has a long night ahead of her.

For a preview of the fourth set, I decided to repost the "gratuitous satyr buttshot", since those bottoms are just so cute.

I've actually already started the fifth set as well, but decided to put it on hold until I get this fourth set done. Things are going to start getting a little freakier soon, but not until Briston gets some love. As if two satyr fucking a horse isn't freaky.

The third scene is finally published. I apologize for the delay in getting this set done, but hopefully it was worth the wait. The narrative ended up a bit more explicit that I anticipated, but once the story starting going down that path, I had to see it through. I think it turned out pretty well.

The first draft of the images for the third set -- called Pack Behavior -- are done. I still need to proof them and get the story written down, but we're almost there. It's 17 images in total, but a few of them are "story" shots as opposed to "action" shots, like this one:

I have some ideas about the next set, but it may be going a little too far for some people -- not your standard woman-fucked-by-creature fare. Still thinking about it. Not sure I want to alienate anyone quite yet.

Also, please excuse any strangeness you see with the blog -- the editor is acting very screwy tonight.

Lots of delays lately, I know. Here's a token of my good faith in getting the third scene created -- a preview image from early in the set.

I'm still early in the set, and it's turned out to be quite a challenge, so there's still quite a bit of work to be done on the images.

Now maybe I can actually make some progress on the next set instead of just treading water.

The Maiden Rune - C1S1 - (Re)Published

I've re-published the first scene of The Maiden Rune, now available for download rather than display. There's a link to the right that will take you to the table of contents for the story. There you will find links to the image sets as I publish them for the story. The first scene is up now, and I hope to have the second one re-published soon. The password to the archives is to the right as well.

I ended up going with the text-beside-image presentation because I think that serves the story better. For those that find the text too distracting or uninteresting, it should be pretty easy to crop away. I'm new to publishing to the download sites, so let me know if there are any problems.

I'm also still tweaking things on the new blog, so please bear with me. I should have backed up my template.

Feedback - Presentation

Since I apparently can't keep a blog with the full Maiden Rune story on it, I'm planning to make archives available for download that contain all the images and the story. Rather than create an HTML file and embed the images like I had on the previous site, I was thinking of integrating the images and narrative more closely, something like this:

What do you guys think? I like the presentation for keeping the story and image together. I'm intentionally keeping the story off the images themselves because I personally find that distracting, and the left-hand side is easily cropped for those who prefer to do without story altogether. The actual image itself is the same size as before, I just extended the canvas to fill the standard 1920x1200 widescreen resolution.

The only thing that bothers me is it feels like the image needs a border, but I don't like those either. I may still play around with this, but this my first stab at it. I'm open to suggestions and comments.

Reboot

Well, it looks like Google/Blogger decided they didn't like my work and deleted my blogs and profile. A simple email would have sufficed, but I guess they prefer the slash and burn route.

Not to be (too) deterred, I'm going to give this another shot, but I'll keep the hardcore images off the blog this time and provide archives of the photo sets and stories. It's going to take me a little bit to figure out how I'm going to present my work now, so there will probably be a little bit of a delay. I probably won't work on the third Maiden Rune set until I get the first two sets back up in some way.

Sorry about this, and thanks for your patience. Blame the prudes.
